Boat trips in Barcelona leave from the city's two harbours: the old Port Vell and Port Olímpic, built for the 1992 Olympics. Sailing boats and catamarans cruise the shore along Barceloneta beach and show Montjuïc hill from the harbour mouth, with sunset trips in the evening. For a break from the city beaches, private boats head south-west to the coves beneath the limestone cliffs of Garraf Natural Park.
