The short distances between Malta's three islands make the boat trip a natural part of getting around. Boats run from Sliema and Bugibba to Comino's Blue Lagoon, the Dwejra coast of Gozo and the Blue Grotto on the south of Malta. The sea is swimmable from April to November.
