From Latchi harbour the boat heads west along the protected coast of the Akamas peninsula and anchors in the Blue Lagoon for a long swim in shallow, pale-blue water. Some boats continue to Fontana Amorosa. With no road along the shore, the lagoon is most easily reached by sea.
