From Sliema or Bugibba the boat follows Malta's north coast to Comino, where a few hours are spent in the shallow turquoise water of the Blue Lagoon, with the Crystal Lagoon and the island's sea caves seen from the boat. The lagoon is crowded on summer afternoons; morning sailings are quieter.
