Samsun 概要
Samsun has two main boat routes, one at sea and one on a reservoir. The two-deck, 400-passenger Samsunum-1, run by the metropolitan municipality's company SAMULAŞ, leaves from its pier behind the Atatürk Cultural Centre and sails from Samsun Harbour to the Atakum shore and back. About 17 km north-west of Vezirköprü, boats in the Şahinkaya Canyon cruise the Altınkaya reservoir on the Kızılırmak between sheer rock walls, on round trips of 45-60 minutes. Life jackets are compulsory on the canyon trips and swimming is not allowed. SAMULAŞ's Samsunum-2 also runs trips on request on the Suat Uğurlu reservoir in Ayvacık.
