• Kızkumu is within the Datça-Bozburun Special Environmental Protection Area; Orhaniye is also a first-degree archaeological site (ancient Bybassos).
• There is no current decision prohibiting walking on Kızkumu Beach. Entry is free. However, since the beach is held together by seagrass, sand should not be taken and iron should not be placed on the grass.
• BALIKÇILIĞA KAPALI ALAN: Bu rotadaki koylarda kıyıdan olta dışında her türlü amatör ve ticari balıkçılık yasaktır (11.08.2024 tarih ve 32629 sayılı Resmî Gazete'de yayımlanan 6/1 ve 6/2 numaralı tebliğler, 01.09.2024-31.08.2028). Yüzmek serbesttir.
