Coron sobre
Coron lies in the Calamian Islands north of Palawan. Island hopping heads to the limestone lakes of Coron Island: Kayangan Lake is a clear freshwater lake reached by a short climb, and in Barracuda Lake you can feel the thermocline where salt and fresh water meet. Twin Lagoon is crossed by swimming through a low gap in the rock. Japanese ships sunk in 1944 lie in the bay as snorkel and dive sites. Coron Island is the ancestral domain of the indigenous Tagbanua, and entrance fees go to the community.
