The Geirangerfjord is a roughly 15 km fjord in western Norway framed by steep cliffs, listed by UNESCO together with the Nærøyfjord. Boat trips leave from Geiranger village at the head of the fjord and pass the Seven Sisters, the Suitor and the Bridal Veil waterfalls. The farms of Skageflå and Knivsflå on the slopes are old fjord farms that are no longer worked. A ferry of about 65 minutes also runs the full length of the fjord between Geiranger and Hellesylt. The main season is May to September, with some reduced sailings in spring and autumn.
