Kotor in breve
The Bay of Kotor is a deep inlet wedged between mountains, wrapped around the UNESCO-listed old town of Kotor. Boats land on the man-made islet off Perast with the church of Our Lady of the Rocks, then head towards the mouth of the bay for the Blue Cave on the Luštica peninsula, the Mamula fortress and the Yugoslav navy's submarine tunnels. Departures are from Kotor, Perast, Tivat and Herceg Novi; further south, short trips run from Budva past Sveti Stefan.
