Sardinia in breve
Sardinia's boat trips cluster on two different coasts. In the north-east, boats from Palau weave between the granite islands of the La Maddalena National Park, with Cala Corsara on Spargi and Cala Coticcio on Caprera as frequent stops. On the east coast, boats from Cala Gonone drop down the cliff-bound Gulf of Orosei to Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu and Cala Goloritzé, most of which cannot be reached by road. In the north-west, trips from Alghero go to Capo Caccia and Neptune's Grotto.
