Kayseri 概要
Boat tours in Kayseri take place on the Yamula reservoir, which locals call 'Kayseri's sea', on the Kızılırmak about 25 km north-west of the city. Boats from Kuşçu Marina, run by Kocasinan Municipality, make 30-40 minute trips on the lake. The route covers the site of the old village of Kuşçu, flooded by the reservoir in 2003, and local captains point out where its houses, vineyards and gardens once stood. Boats leave not at fixed times but once 15 passengers have boarded, and weekends are busier. Tours run from April to October.
