Ang Thong Marine Park نبذة
Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park is made up of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand west of Koh Samui. Day trips leave from Koh Samui or Koh Phangan; a viewpoint trail on Mae Ko looks down on Thale Nai, the saltwater Emerald Lake at the island's centre. From the park headquarters on Wua Talap you can climb to a viewpoint, and kayaking can be added to the route. Park entry is paid, and the park may close temporarily during the north-east monsoon.
