Avşa Island daily group boat tours with fixed departure times are not available starting in 2026; the island's bays can be explored with private boats rented from the pier or Yiğitler harbor. The typical route goes from the ferry pier to Manastır Bay at the western tip of the island, then to Çınar, Tavşanlı, Karadut and Altınkum bays along the southern shore. Rentals can be hourly or for the whole day and the route can change according to the passenger's wishes. Only some of the bays have food and drink facilities, so it is necessary to bring food and water. It is also possible to go fishing with small fishing boats from the same pier.
