Panoramica
From the small harbour of Kefken in Kandıra, a sightseeing boat makes a short tour of the Black Sea coves before reaching Kefken Island. The route passes Kapri Cove, Kovanağzı Beach, the Pink Rocks and Cebeci beach. During the stop of one to one and a half hours on the island you can swim or look at the remains of Genoese walls, rainwater cisterns and a lighthouse built in 1879. The island is a first-degree archaeological site and there is nowhere to buy food or drinks. The whole trip takes about three hours; there are midday and afternoon departures, and the boat can also be chartered privately.
