Panoramica
A small boat leaves the Old Harbour for the shallow fishing grounds in the south of the bay, close to Reykjavík. Cod, haddock, pollock and redfish are caught on rod and line, with gear provided on board. At the end of the roughly three-hour trip part of the catch can be cooked on board or filleted to take away. Boats usually carry no more than twelve people and sail with a minimum of two; private hire for a group is also possible.
