Boat tours in Düzce take place in Akçakoca, on the Black Sea coast. Akçakoca Municipality's Pusula Katamaran, with room for about 300 passengers, has been running trips since 2020. Leaving Akçakoca harbour, the catamaran follows the district's roughly 35 km of coastline, showing its beaches and coves from the sea; the tour lasts about three hours. Highlights along the route are the headland topped by the Genoese Castle and the Blue Flag Kale beach. There is a swim stop in open water for those who want to go in. The trips are popular with day visitors, especially at weekends.
