Boat tours in Ordu are run by the metropolitan municipality, whose excursion ship and the Kuzey Yıldızı sailboat carried more than 75,000 domestic and international visitors in 2023. The Şehit Necati Gürkaya, which replaced the fire-damaged Şehit Temel Şimşir, began sailing from Melet Harbour in summer 2026. The ship follows the Altınordu shore, showing the city, the Taşbaşı waterfront and the seaside parks from the water; there is no swim stop. The Kuzey Yıldızı sailboat departs from Taşbaşı Pier. At certain times of year, municipal boats also run tours in Fatsa, Perşembe and Ünye.
