Artvin نبذة
Boat tours in Artvin run on the reservoirs of the Çoruh basin as part of the Çoruh Piers Project led by the Artvin Governorate. From İbrikli Pier on the Borçka reservoir, two boats seating 47 and 27 passengers operate two separate routes of about 45 minutes, towards the Murgul Valley and towards Artvin Marina. In summer, bears, wild goats, wild boar and jackals coming down to the shore can be seen from the boat. Kalededibi Pier, below the city centre, opened in 2022 at a historic spot from which boats once carried passengers and goods to Batumi; tours from here follow the Çoruh Valley.
