Galápagos (Santa Cruz) en bref

Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island is the base for day boat trips for visitors staying on land in Galápagos. National park visitor sites can only be reached on park-authorised boats with an authorised naturalist guide, and day itineraries follow a schedule set by the park. The best-known day-trip islands are North Seymour (blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, land iguanas) and Bartolomé (Pinnacle Rock and the summit view). Boats for North Seymour and Bartolomé are boarded at the Itabaca Channel on the north of the island, while the short bay tours off Puerto Ayora leave from the town pier. Foreign adult visitors pay a USD 200 park entrance fee on arrival.
