Tintamarre and Pinel en bref
Boat trips on the French side of Saint-Martin centre on the northeast coast and the national nature reserve created in 1998. Tintamarre is an uninhabited island with aircraft wrecks left from an airstrip used between 1944 and 1952 and a snorkel spot off its north point. Îlet Pinel has an underwater trail that starts from the beach. Rocher Créole off Grand Case is a shallow, sheltered snorkel and dive site. Anchoring in the reserve is restricted and yellow moorings are used; departures are from Anse Marcel, Cul-de-Sac and Marigot.
