Aperçu
Ildır, in the north-east of Çeşme, is a quiet fishing village on the shore of ancient Erythrai. Private boats leaving from here head for the small islands and coves of the Ildır and Gerence bays, away from the crowded party boats. The route is chosen according to weather and sea conditions; Çelebi Island, Köse Island, İngiliz Island and Saranç Cove are regular stops, with swimming breaks at three or four coves during the day. The boats carry between 6 and 20 people and are chartered by a single group for the whole day. Trips can be booked with or without lunch, and hot drinks are included.
