Aperçu
A private boat leaves Market Square to tour the fortress islands south of Helsinki. The first stop is the small island of Lonna, then a landing at the Kustaanmiekka end of Suomenlinna for a walk among the ramparts and fortifications. On the way back the boat passes Vallisaari, a long-time military island, seen from the water. Route and stop lengths are set with the group; leaving an hour and a half for a walk on Suomenlinna is advisable.
