Boat tours in Karaman take place on the Ermenek reservoir, known for its turquoise colour and located about 160 km from central Karaman. Ermenek Municipality runs lake trips on catamarans from a floating pier at the Turkuaz picnic area. The route follows the reservoir's narrow, steep-sided arms towards the Nadire Canyon. Tours are by reservation, which keeps waiting at the pier short. Afterwards you can eat at the municipal restaurant on the shore, and the picnic area has tables and a children's playground. Tours run from June to September.
