Amsterdam about

A boat trip in Amsterdam is a canal cruise, not a sea trip. The canal ring (Grachtengordel) of the Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, dug in the 17th century, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010. Cruises usually start around Central Station and the Damrak; the Golden Bend on the Herengracht, the row of bridges on the Reguliersgracht and the Magere Brug on the Amstel are passed often. Passenger boats on the city-centre canals must run emission-free (electric). Cruises run all year.
