Istanbul about

Boat tours in Istanbul centre on the Bosphorus, the strait of about 30 km linking the Sea of Marmara with the Black Sea. Şehir Hatları runs the long and short Bosphorus cruises from Eminönü and, in summer, a moonlight cruise from Bostancı; the long and moonlight cruises stop at Anadolu Kavağı near the Black Sea entrance. Yachts from Karaköy and Eminönü sail up to Rumeli Fortress, where the strait narrows to about 698 m. Boats from Cibali and Kalamış offer sightseeing and swimming stops around the Princes' Islands. In Ağva, part of Şile, short river trips run along the Göksu stream.
