About boat trips in Portugal
Portugal's boat trips take place on the Algarve coast in the south and on Madeira in the Atlantic. In the Algarve, boats run from Lagos to the arches of Ponta da Piedade and Benagil cave, and from Faro to the islands of the Ria Formosa. On Madeira, whales and dolphins are watched from Funchal all year. The Algarve season runs April to October.
