Aydın about
Boat tours on Aydın's Aegean coast depart mainly from Kuşadası. Boats leaving the pier on Güvercinada, a small island joined to central Kuşadası by a causeway of about 210 m, head either to the hard-to-reach coves of the Dilek Peninsula-Büyük Menderes Delta National Park, established in 1966, or north to the Baradan, Maydanoz and Koru coves. The national park coves can also be reached on a shorter crossing from the Güzelçamlı fishing harbour, with the route following the coast opposite Samos. In Didim, tours leave from Altınkum harbour and visit the coves on the south of the peninsula. Fishing trips also depart from Kuşadası Marina.
