Lakes of Killarney about

The Lakes of Killarney are three lakes inside Killarney National Park in south-west Ireland: Lough Leane, Muckross Lake and the Upper Lake. Boats leave from the pier at 15th-century Ross Castle; these are lake trips, not sea trips. Short cruises on Lough Leane show the monastic ruins on Innisfallen Island and O'Sullivan's Cascade. The classic long route runs past the Meeting of the Waters and Old Weir Bridge to the Upper Lake and Lord Brandon's Cottage at the foot of the Gap of Dunloe. Sailings run from spring to autumn and depend on the weather.
