Tortola about
Tortola is the main island of the British Virgin Islands, in the middle of the Caribbean's busiest day-boat waters. The Baths on Virgin Gorda are known for pools and passages between giant granite boulders. White Bay on Jost Van Dyke is the lunch stop with its white sand. The sea caves of Norman Island and The Indians rock group are the snorkelling spots. Departures are from Road Town, Nanny Cay and Virgin Gorda. Hurricane season runs June to November; December to April is the busiest period.
