Caye Caulker about
Caye Caulker is a small sand island inside the Belize Barrier Reef, the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. Boats go to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, snorkelling the cut in the reef and watching nurse sharks and rays at Shark Ray Alley. Manatees live around Swallow Caye to the south. Longer trips reach Turneffe atoll. Departures for the same reserve also leave San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. The dry season runs December to May.
