Sarandë and Ksamil about
Sarandë is a port town on Albania's southern Ionian coast, facing Corfu. To the south, the village of Ksamil and the small Ksamil islets just offshore are swimming spots reached by short boat hops, and Butrint National Park with its UNESCO-listed ancient city lies close by. The shore between Sarandë and Ksamil has coves such as Pasqyrat (Mirror Beach) and Pulëbardha that are hard to reach by land. North of the town, the bays of Kakome and Krorëz are the classic targets of day boat trips. The season runs mainly from May to October.
