If wind or waves make the trip unsafe, the operator postpones or cancels; you are never charged for an operator cancellation. You pay on board, so there is no prepayment at risk.

Local notes

• This is not a tour, but a scheduled dolmuş boat line. The boat departs when full, not at a fixed time. The ticket for the trip is also valid for the return, keep it.
• You can make a phone reservation to disembark at the facilities along the route.
• İZTUZU: The beach is closed to the public from 20:00 to 08:00 between May 1 and October 31. Fires, tents, vehicles and animals are not allowed; umbrellas and sun loungers cannot be placed in designated nesting areas. The fine for violation is 699,245 TL, three times as much for legal entities.
• Speedboats are prohibited one mile from the beach and in Dalyan delta and river.
• The speed limit in the channel and lake is 5 nautical miles; speedboats and unregistered boats are prohibited. Feeding sea turtles from the boat, mooring in reed areas, and boarding/disembarking passengers outside of piers are also prohibited (Muğla Governorate Köyceğiz Lake and Dalyan Channel Administration).
