Overview
A roughly one-hour sightseeing trip on the excursion boats that leave from the İskele Meydanı quay inside Sinop's sheltered harbour. The boat heads out past the breakwater, shows the city walls and the sea-facing side of the Historic Sinop Prison, then follows the southern shore of the peninsula towards the DSİ beach and Karakum area before turning back to the harbour. There is no swimming stop, so it suits visitors who want a quick look at the town from the water. Thanks to its natural inner harbour, Sinop is one of the busiest Black Sea provinces for excursion boats, and trips also run on summer evenings.
