From Portimão or Armação de Pêra the boat follows the limestone cliffs east: the Algar Seco rocks at Carvoeiro, the arches of Marinha beach and the open-roofed Benagil cave. Entry to the cave depends on the authorities' rules, and most boats view it from the mouth. Dolphins are seen on some sailings.
