About this tour
İbrikli Pier, on the Artvin-Rize road beside the Borçka Dam Lake in the Çoruh Valley, is part of the Çoruh Piers project run by the Artvin Special Provincial Administration. Two boats run tours of about 45 minutes on two routes, one towards the Murgul Valley and the other towards the Artvin Marina. In summer, brown bears, wild goats, jackals and wild boar coming down to the water on the steep valley sides can often be seen from the boat. The pier area has picnic spots and a souvenir stand.
