About this tour
A passenger boat leaves from outside Nyhavn 71, clears the harbour past the Trekroner fort and crosses the Øresund to Flakfortet in about 40 minutes. Flakfortet is an artificial island fort built in 1910–1916 to guard the sea approach to Copenhagen; its military use ended in 1968. On the island you walk among the fort's remains and can eat at the restaurant. The return is on one of the later sailings, so time on the island is set by the timetable.
