About this tour
On the Ermenek Dam Lake in the Taurus Mountains, known for its turquoise water, Ermenek Municipality runs lake tours on catamaran boats from the floating pier at the Turquoise Picnic Area. The route follows the lake's narrow, steep-sided arms towards Nadire Canyon. Afterwards you can eat at the municipal restaurant on the shore, and the picnic area has tables and a playground. The lake is about 160 kilometres from Karaman city and roughly three hours from Mersin. Tours are booked in advance, which keeps waiting at the pier short.
