About this tour
A short cruise along the city shore on Ordu Metropolitan Municipality's excursion ship. The refurbished Şehit Necati Gürkaya, which replaced the fire-damaged Şehit Temel Şimşir, began sailing from Melet Harbour in summer 2026 at 15:00 and 18:00 every weekday. It follows the Altınordu waterfront, showing the city spread below Boztepe hill, the Taşbaşı shore and the seaside parks from the water. The municipality's sailing boat Kuzey Yıldızı also makes several daily trips from Taşbaşı Pier. There is no swimming stop, and the evening sailing coincides with sunset.
