About this tour
The private boat leaves Playas del Coco and crosses the Gulf of Papagayo north to Islas Murciélago, a ride of about an hour or a little more. The islands are in the marine sector of Santa Rosa National Park and landing is not allowed, so the programme is snorkelling from the boat and optional diving. The bull shark dive at the Big Scare site is deep and prone to currents and suits only advanced divers. Trips can be cancelled in the dry season because of strong wind.
