About this tour
A public sea trip on Samsunum-1, a two-deck, 400-passenger ship run by SAMULAŞ, a company of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality. The ship leaves its own pier behind the Atatürk Cultural Centre, sails west from Samsun harbour along the coast to Atakum beach and returns the same way. Along the route guests see the city skyline, Batıpark and Atakum's long sandy shore from the water, with music on board. Scheduled public departures run at 15:00 at weekends, and weekday sailings are added once schools close for summer. It is a short, affordable and family-friendly outing.
