About this tour
Ağva is a small Black Sea resort set between the Göksu and Yeşilçay streams. The local boat cooperative and independent skippers run short river trips throughout the day from the riverbank in the village centre. The wooden boats head upstream past hotels and guesthouses and reed-lined, wooded banks, and some trips also cover the river mouth where the Göksu meets the sea. Boats carry between five and forty people, and a trip usually lasts thirty minutes to an hour. No advance booking is needed; you can board one of the boats waiting at the bank.
