- Local notes
- Suluada Island is accessible only by sea. There are no toilets, showers, buffet, sun loungers or electricity on the island — water and shade must be prepared on the boat.
- The island is within the borders of the Olimpos-Beydağları Coastal National Park; all construction is prohibited. Overnight stays and camping are not allowed.
- Antalya Governorate's Circular No. 2026/5 on Tour Boats (June 12, 2026) tightened controls on capacity, alcohol, and night trips; anchor or virtual anchor is mandatory in sensitive areas.
- Cape Gelidonya and the Five Islands location opposite it are considered the most dangerous crossing in the Gulf of Antalya due to strong currents; day boats do not round the cape.
- Caretta caretta: Protected nesting beaches of Kumluca and Olimpos-Cıralı; entry to the beach is prohibited from 20:00 to 08:00 between 1 May and 30 September.
- After 14:00, wind and waves increase significantly out at sea; the crossing to Suluada takes about 45 minutes.
