Overview
Afternoon departure from the houseboat jetty in Punnamada on a private kettuvallam, opening onto Vembanad Lake, then entering the canals of Kuttanad. Lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are cooked on board; along the way you will see rice fields, villages along the canal and fishing boats. Houseboats stop sailing in the evening and spend the night anchored; night sailing is not available. The next morning, after breakfast, return to the jetty. The entire boat is rented; the number of cabins ranges from 1 to 5.
