Overview
A small private boat leaves Nyhavn for the narrow canals of Christianshavn, the Opera House and the Little Mermaid, continuing to the former shipyard area of Refshaleøen. Route and pace are set with the group, and bringing your own food and drinks for a picnic on board is common. Under the harbour rules, anchoring is only allowed in designated areas, swimming only in marked bathing zones, and boats may not stop where canal signs forbid it. The two-hour trip can be shortened to an hour and a half by trimming the route.
