Overview
From Kissamos harbour the boat runs to the tip of the Gramvousa peninsula and lands first on Gramvousa island, where a footpath climbs to the Venetian fort and the cove below is good for swimming. A long stop follows in the shallow, pale-blue lagoon of Balos, where the water on either side of the sand spit is a different colour. The boat returns to Kissamos in the afternoon.
