Overview
Leaving the shore opposite Funzi Island, the dhow calls at Funzi's fishing village and the sandbar that appears at low tide, with a swim stop there. After lunch a small motorboat heads into the mangrove channels of the Ramisi river, where birds and sometimes crocodiles are seen. The route is planned around the tide.
