Overview
A private boat takes about 10–15 minutes from Geiranger to the Skagehola landing on the fjord's southern shore. From there a steep path, secured with steps and railings on the exposed parts, climbs to Skageflå farm in about 45 minutes, with views over the fjord and the Seven Sisters waterfall. After the descent the boat collects the group and passes the waterfalls on the way back. Instead of returning by boat, hikers can walk back to Geiranger via Homlong, which takes several hours.
