Overview
Around sunset the boat leaves the Kaibo dock on the North Side and first cruises slowly along the Starfish Point shore. Once it is dark it enters the bioluminescent bay near Rum Point, where plankton glow when the water is disturbed. Because the glow needs darkness, trips are scheduled by the moon cycle and do not run on the nights around the full moon. Whether guests may enter the water depends on the type of boat.
