Overview
From Gustavia the sailboat or catamaran heads about 5 miles northwest to uninhabited Île Fourchue. The island is a sector of the nature reserve; the boat picks up a mooring in its sheltered bay and snorkellers follow the rocky shore with turtles and reef fish. On the way back there is a lunch and swim stop in Colombier bay. The shore is stony, so a sandy entry should not be expected.
