Overview
The boat leaves the Vila do Abraão pier and heads west along the north coast of the island. The first main stop is Lagoa Azul, shallow clear water between Ilha dos Macacos and the island, for snorkelling. Then comes a short stop at the historic village of Freguesia de Santana, and a lunch break at the beach restaurants of Japariz bay. On the way back some boats pass the sheltered inlet of Saco do Céu. The trip takes about 5–6 hours.
